Who you are dealing with

What we ask you, and what we keep
Ramus Regalis OÜ (registry code 17620020, Ruunaoja tn 3, 11415 Tallinn, Estonia) is responsible for what you tell us, and decides how it is used.
When you ask for a code we keep what you tell us at the door: your name and email, where you are, what you do and roughly your age, what you wear, and whatever you write in your own words. If you arrived by one of our own links, we also keep which one, so we know which of our posts and advertisements actually bring people to the house. We do not use cookies or tracking pixels for this, and nothing follows you once you leave.
We keep it to decide who is offered a place, to plan what is made, and to write to you about the house. If you begin and do not finish, we keep the name and email you had already given, and we say so on the form at the moment it becomes true.
None of it is kept without end. If the house does not offer you a place, your request is deleted twelve months after that decision. If you begin and never finish, the name and email you gave are deleted twelve months after you began. Both happen by themselves, on a daily schedule, and do not wait to be asked.
Writing to you about your request is one thing; writing to you about the house (the making, the room, the door opening) is another, and we do the second only if you tick the box at the door that asks. It is never ticked for you. Say the word and it stops.
Once you join we keep what we need to honour your membership: your place and the date you took it, and your fit and preference profile if you give us one. If you reserve a piece of an edition we keep which piece, colour and size, because that is how we decide how many of each to make; and if you tell us how a piece fits, we keep your answer to correct the next run's pattern. We do not track how you move around this page. Your measurements, address and contact details are never part of the public Founding Record and never leave the house.
We do not sell any of it, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the house except the services that run this site on our behalf: the company that hosts it, the one that holds the database, the one that sends our email, and the one that takes payment. The site and the database sit in the European Union.
Why we are allowed to hold it: your request and your membership, because you asked us for them; the questions we ask in order to choose, because a house that offers a finite number of places has to choose somehow; letters about the house, only because you ticked the box. A person reads every request and a person decides. Nothing here is decided by a machine.
What you can ask of us, at any time: to see what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to take a copy away with you, to stop using it for a particular thing, or to pause while we settle a disagreement. Write to the house at house@ramusregalis.com from the address you used. If we handle it badly you can complain to a data protection authority: in our case Estonia's Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, or the one where you live.
